Step 1 - Annual Registration with USA Swimming (Nat'l Governing Body)

Registering your athlete with USA Swimming (National Governing Body) is required to train and compete with a USA Swimming Team. When fully registered you will add your child(ren) to your account and obtain a USA Member ID for each athlete. You will enter that 14-character athlete ID in Step 4.

USA Swimming Online Member Registration (OMR)

An active USA Swimming ID is needed for insurance. Athletes without an active USA Swimming ID will not be allowed to practice or compete.

Step 2 - Annual Registration with TEAMGOLDUSA (USA1) Club Swim Team

Choose your TEAMGOLDUSA club registration fee. Choose between our 11-month program for athletes swimming the full year, or select a seasonal option.

Athlete and Parent Agreement

Parents and athletes agree to the following minimum standards. Violations may result in consequences up to suspension or dismissal per club policy.

Safe Sport & MAAPP

Read: Safe Sport & MAAPP Compliance
  • Follow USA Swimming Safe Sport & MAAPP for one-on-one interactions, communications, travel, facilities.
  • Include a parent/guardian on electronic communications with minor athletes when required.
Read: Locker Rooms & Facilities
  • Obey posted rules; no photos/videos in locker rooms or bathrooms.
Read: Team Travel & Trips
  • Comply with travel policies; curfews/check-ins; no coach sharing a room with an athlete (unless parent/guardian).
Read: Media, Photography & Social Media
  • Use club media responsibly; parents may opt out of promotional use via written notice.

Team Standards

Read: Respect & Anti-Bullying
  • Respect teammates, coaches, officials, meet staff, facilities; no bullying, hazing, or harassment.
Read: Attendance, Readiness & Equipment
  • Arrive on time with required gear; communicate absences in advance.
Read: Meets, Communication & Grievances
  • Respect officials; use club channels and timelines for questions or grievances.
Read: Substances & Conduct
  • No tobacco, vaping, alcohol, or illegal drugs at team activities.

Health & Administration

Read: Health, Medical & Emergency Care
  • Keep medical and emergency contacts current; disclose relevant conditions as needed.
  • Consent to reasonable first aid and emergency care when a parent/guardian cannot be reached.
