How points and history work
Each completed rules level and Olympic year earns its best percentage + 10 completion + 20 mastery (80%+) + 40 perfect-score points: up to 170. Every completed Gretchen Walsh level earns the same full formula, up to 170 points per level. All seven perfect levels earn 1,190 points. No level is divided or discounted on this totals board.
Overall points add the section totals. Perfect challenges, then completed challenges break points ties; exact ties share rank. Replays replace lower bests and never add extra participation. Missing levels contribute zero. Existing Rules results count as Level 1; Swimming Vocabulary has ten levels (up to 1,700 points); other seven-level Rules games earn up to 1,190 points. Open Water Vocabulary has one foundations level (up to 170 points). Select Pts Detail to see how a player earned their points, section ranks and individual bests.
Original score records stay intact. Legacy entries retain older Gretchen Walsh results. Coach-approved duplicate names for Coach Marc, Jacob Bao (including Jacob Buo) and Ren Erikson (including Ren Erickson) combine on this board, using the highest score per challenge. Original accounts and attempts stay intact. Players’ first and last names appear with gamer names underneath. Member profiles link verified identities across games. New guest scores share a private player key on the same device. Olympic guests whose names were not previously recorded should open their game and press SAVE once to add their names. Historical Olympic practice bests are retained, including earlier five-question results. Saved guest scores on this device are restored when you open this board. A year contributes its highest recorded best once, even when it has both a historical score and a new 20-question result.
