Two separate steps: respond to TEAMGOLDUSA by the existing October 17 team commitment deadline, then complete the official FastSwims entry by October 22. Entry may close earlier at capacity (300 swimmers or the 12-and-under four-hour limit). Coach arrival time and team meeting point are awaiting confirmation.
Choose one age-eligible captain category
Review your category with Coach Marc. Ages overlap, so some swimmers have a choice. Swim all five events to qualify for the pentathlon award. The lowest combined time wins for each male/female category.

Saturday morning schedule
7:30 AM pool opens · 7:45 AM warm-up begins · 7:45–8:30 AM check-in · 9:00 AM meet begins. All captain categories share this morning check-in. Finish time is not published; the four-hour rule is not a promised finish time.
Parent checklist
- Confirm attendance in the team portal and ask Coach Marc about the captain category.
- Complete FastSwims entry and retain the confirmation. Current USA Swimming membership is required; membership registration is not available at the meet.
- Check in on deck before 8:30 AM, even if you entered online.
- Bring suit, cap, spare goggles, towels, warm layers, sunscreen, snacks, and a refillable water bottle. This is an outdoor heated pool.
- 12-and-under swimmers cannot wear technical suits at this meet. Adult athletes must have current Athlete Protection Training.
- Check this page before departure for team instructions. Speak to your coach before leaving the meet.
Fees, entry limits and awards
$35 per swimmer. FastSwims adds 6.5% of entry fees plus $0.75 per transaction, regardless of athlete count. A one-swimmer transaction calculates to approximately $38.03 total; the checkout total controls. Advance entries are online only and paid by credit card.
Deck entry is conditional on capacity and referee approval: $40, time only, no scoring or awards. Inquire with the meet director after October 26. Entry fees are non-refundable except a required scratch-down. Maximum five events. Heats swim fastest to slowest; flyover starts may be used.
The fastest male and female completing all five swims in each captain category receive a designated award. No separate qualifying-time standards are listed in the announcement.

G/B = girls/boys. Barbossa's 100-yard events swim with the corresponding Jack Sparrow events. Jack Sparrow's 200 IM (127/128) swims with Long John Silver's 200 IM (27/28). These are combined heats, not additional sessions.
Food, seating, parking and venue rules
Spectator admission is free; a program may carry a nominal charge. A snack bar includes a loaded baked potato bar. Water refill stations are available. Warm-up/cool-down lanes remain available during competition.
No pets, glass containers, personal propane heaters, smoking or alcohol. The announcement prohibits personal shade structures on deck or outside the fenced pool area and contains additional tarp/EZ-Up restrictions; ask the host before bringing a canopy. No overnight RV parking in Woodland High School lots. Daytime parking instructions are not specified.
No recording in locker rooms, changing areas, restrooms, or behind the starting end. No deck changing or drones over the venue. Swimmers must be supervised by a registered USA Swimming coach.
Timers, officials and contacts
Team timer assignments will be sent to participating teams. Clubs supply timers in proportion to attendance; shift details are pending. Officials required by team entry count: 0–10 swimmers: 0; 11–25: 1; 26–50: 2; 51–75: 3; 76–100: 4; over 100: 5. Insufficient team officials can cause swimmers to be treated as time only.
