Contact emergency services or the appropriate local authority first. Reporting to a sport organization does not replace a report required by law.

The Center accepts reports concerning abuse or misconduct involving participants in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement.

TEAMGOLDUSA can assist with policy questions, team procedures, educational resources, and club-level concerns. Reports involving suspected abuse, misconduct, or situations requiring mandatory reporting should be directed immediately to the appropriate authorities and/or the U.S. Center for SafeSport as required.

TEAMGOLDUSA does not conduct independent investigations involving allegations of abuse. The safety and well-being of athletes remains our highest priority.

Emergency Reporting

If an athlete or any person is in immediate danger, call 911 immediately.

Reports involving suspected child abuse or criminal conduct should be made to local law enforcement and the appropriate child protection agency without delay.

Preserve information

  • Write down what happened, when, where, and who was present.
  • Preserve messages, emails, screenshots, photos, or other relevant material.
  • Do not confront the accused person or conduct your own investigation.
  • Do not promise confidentiality that you cannot legally or ethically provide.
  • Do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern or participates in a report.
