PREPARE • EXECUTE

Race the plan.
Learn from the result.

A strong race plan connects the start, underwater work, stroke rhythm, pace, turns, finish, and response under pressure.

Race preparation

Know the event, heat, lane, timeline, and warm-up plan.
Meet with the coach and identify one or two primary race cues.
Visualize key skills and the intended emotional state.
Race the first controllable action rather than chasing the outcome.
Report to the coach after the race for feedback and learning.

Strategy is event-specific

The best plan for a 50 is not the best plan for a 500, and the best plan for one athlete may not fit another. Use coach-directed pacing and technical cues.

Build the athlete. Strengthen the person.

TEAMGOLDUSA connects performance, character, family partnership, safety, and long-term opportunity.
