TEAMGOLDUSA DRY TESTING

Dryland performance testing with clear purpose.

The Dry Testing Library organizes land-based assessments separately from pool performance. Approved protocols will measure a defined quality, use consistent administration and scoring, establish safety boundaries, and provide useful context for coaches and athletes.

DRY TEST GUIDE

Five categories. Five published protocols.

Mobility remains the first card, followed by one controlled protocol in Strength, Power, Conditioning and Readiness. Each category now has its own searchable landing page; each test includes coach instructions, an athlete overview, printable forms, limitations and research.

MOB

PUBLISHED DRY TEST · LEVEL 1

Dryland Mobility Assessment

Ten standardized measures covering shoulder and streamlined reach, shoulder rotation, thoracic rotation and extension, hip rotation and flexor length, active and passive straight-leg raise, ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion.
  • Exact left/right measures plus compensation notes
  • No universal medical pass/fail score
  • Five-page coach packet and multi-athlete field sheet

CURRENT STATUS

All five dryland categories now have a published starting protocol.

Future tests will be added as separate controlled protocols. A category or result must not be interpreted as medical screening, clearance, diagnosis or a guarantee of swimming performance.

Performance testing is not medical testing

Dry testing does not diagnose an injury, identify a medical condition or clear an athlete to participate. Coaches follow individualized restrictions, qualified healthcare guidance, safe equipment practices and the applicable emergency action plan.
